The MAC series HOT (high operating temperature) cooled infrared camera cores are designed to operate effectively at higher temperatures. This allows for less complex cooling solutions and reduces the overall system weight. It adopts the HOT cooled infrared detector developed by Guide Infrared to achieve SWaP (small size, light weight, low power consumption). Its less complex cooling systems allow for a more compact and lightweight design, making them easier to be integrated into various portable systems without adding significant weight or bulk. The HOT series infrared camera cores are generally more cost-effective due to its simpler cooling mechanisms and reduced power requirements.
The HOT cooled infrared camera cores operate at high temperature without compromising performance while maintaining exceptional performance and sensitivity, thus enhance the reliability of the infrared camera core in diverse settings. It integrates various image processing algorithms and can output clear infrared images even in complete darkness or bad weather conditions. It can also detect and identify long-distance potential threats and present more detailed information of close-range targets.
It is engineered to function effectively in a wide temperature range, making it ideal for environments where traditional cooled detectors may struggle. This capability ensures reliable performance in various challenging conditions. The HOT cooled infrared camera cores typically consume less power due to the less extreme cooling requirements. This can lead to longer operational life in battery-powered applications.
